Definitions

At TYF Rentals, we provide reliable and affordable economy vehicle rentals designed for comfort, convenience, and everyday travel. Our fleet includes compact cars, sedans, fuel-efficient SUVs, and other practical vehicles maintained to meet high standards of safety, cleanliness, and performance.

Rental Agreement

This Agreement is a legally binding contract between the renter (“You”) and TYF Rentals (“We,” “Us,” or “Our”) for the rental of a vehicle. By accepting the vehicle, you agree to comply with all terms outlined in this Agreement.

We reserve the right to repossess the vehicle without prior notice and at your expense if the vehicle is abandoned, misused, or operated in violation of any law or this Agreement. You agree to indemnify and hold TYF Rentals harmless from all claims, liabilities, damages, and legal expenses arising from your use of the rental vehicle.

Vehicle Condition & Return

You agree to return the vehicle on the agreed return date and time in the same condition it was received, excluding normal wear and tear. Late returns may result in additional charges.

If the vehicle is returned outside business hours, you remain responsible for the vehicle until it has been inspected by our staff. Any repairs, modifications, or replacement of parts must receive prior approval from TYF Rentals. You are responsible for maintaining proper fuel and fluid levels during the rental period.

Responsibility for Damage or Loss

You are financially responsible for any damage to, loss of, or theft involving the rental vehicle during the rental period. This includes repair costs, diminished value, administrative fees, towing, storage, and loss-of-use charges.

All accidents, thefts, or vandalism incidents must be reported immediately to both TYF Rentals and the appropriate law enforcement authorities.

Prohibited Uses

The following actions are strictly prohibited and may result in termination of the rental agreement, additional fees, denial of coverage, or legal action:

• Allowing unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle
• Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substance
• Using the vehicle for illegal activities
• Racing, speed testing, towing, or pushing another vehicle
• Transporting hazardous materials or illegal substances
• Driving on unpaved or unsafe roads
• Overloading the vehicle beyond passenger or cargo limits
• Operating the vehicle recklessly or negligently
• Tampering with the odometer
• Using the vehicle for commercial transport or rideshare services without authorization
• Transporting pets without prior approval
• Failing to report accidents involving injury or property damage

Any violation of these terms constitutes a breach of this Agreement.

Insurance & Liability

You are responsible for maintaining valid automobile insurance coverage during the rental period, including liability, collision, and comprehensive coverage where required by law.

If required by applicable law, TYF Rentals may provide minimum liability coverage secondary to any personal insurance policy you maintain. Coverage may become void if you violate any terms of this Agreement or fail to cooperate during a claims investigation.

Charges & Fees

You agree to pay all applicable charges related to your rental, including but not limited to:

• Daily or weekly rental fees
• Mileage charges (if applicable)
• Additional driver fees
• Fuel replacement charges
• Traffic violations, parking tickets, tolls, towing, and impound fees
• Late return fees
• Cleaning fees for excessively dirty vehicles
• Collection costs and legal fees for unpaid balances
• Charges related to vehicle recovery if not returned as agreed

Unpaid balances may incur late payment fees as permitted by law.

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit may be required before vehicle release. TYF Rentals reserves the right to apply the deposit toward unpaid balances, damages, penalties, or other charges incurred during the rental period.

Personal Property

TYF Rentals is not responsible for any personal belongings left inside the rental vehicle or at our office locations. You release TYF Rentals from liability for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

Reservation Changes & Extensions

Rental extensions are subject to vehicle availability and approval by TYF Rentals. Any modification to the rental period or Agreement must be confirmed in writing.

Failure to return the vehicle on time without approval may result in additional fees and possible repossession.

Miscellaneous

Failure by TYF Rentals to enforce any provision of this Agreement does not waive our right to enforce future compliance. If any portion of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

By renting a vehicle from TYF Rentals, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
